LA. CHRONIQUE HOTEL

La Chronique is an a beautiful oasis in the midst of a very busy city. Beautiful appointed in a French style. One feels they have left the city when you walk in. the attached restaurant is first class with great food.

Room was small. None the less it was quaint and comfortable.

Comfortable rooms,great shower,small private balcony,great service from all staff and super well located. Definitely will come back again,anytime I stop in PP.

I selected this hotel almost randomly and was very glad I did. The location is fantastic, basically right next to the Russian market. Such a fascinating area with good food and many coffee shops. Yet it’s kind of tucked away and was relatively quiet. Also appreciated the security aspect. You can only operate the elevator with a little passkey. The place is small, cozy and personal.

Beautiful furnishings, carefully designed. Warm, quiet, and cozy.

The room is Parisian sized. The bed just fits in the space it is in. To get into bed means crawling in from the foot, because there is no space on the side.I would still return, but it is worth knowing. I was traveling alone. With two, it might be tight.

The property is well located for tourist and practical needs. The Night market was two blocks away. The air conditioning worked well (it was very very hot at the time of my stay). Reception staff had many good recommendations for tours around the area. The restaurant downstairs was very good with a French flair. I had a breakfast and a lunch there. They were both delicious.

Beautiful quaint little hotel. Bed was sooo comfy. Staff were very helpful and kind. Right in the middle of everything. Great little restaurant around the corner called KUMBHAKA.

Excellent location. Loved the neighbourhood with many fantastic restaurants. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was quiet, clean and overall a real gem. Would highly recommend and definitely plan to stay again on my next trip to Phnom Penh

Just be aware, you access the hotel lobby by a set of stairs. Staff were absolutely lovely to carry heavy luggage up the stairway. From the lobby, there is an elevator up to the floors with the rooms. This was an issue for me, but maybe for some.Love my stay

This is a beautiful new property, the facilities and service impeccable. Host, Vata, was a wonderful advertisement for Cambodia, helpful and welcoming. A good restaurant downstairs.

It was not a handy walking location

Clean, all the staff were so extremely kind & helpful.

Further out from where the Royal Palace & riverside etc is - about a 20 minute grab tuk tuk ride.

Incredibly charming property in a great neighbourhood. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. My room was absolutely spotless and the bedding was very comfortable. A wonderful stay :)

I enjoy a visit to this lovely hotel. It's tranquil and comfortable in a great location for the Russian Market and lots of bars and restaurants. It feels luxurious with soft towels, lovely crisp bedding and great air con.

The menu was very extensive and the food we had for breakfast was very good.

The lift is only accessible from the lobby so we had to climb the stairs from the street level up to the lobby.

?Location- ideal ! Very close to Russian market, cafes, restaurants, rooftop bars, Genocide museum. A quick tuktuk will take you anywhere else! Perfect ! ? Room- perfect size for me, plenty of storage, well functioning air conditioning and an amazing shower. Also slept very well in a very comfortable bed!! ?️ On-site cafe- reasonably priced and great selection of dishes with variety, mainly western influence and the coffee is excellent ? Laundry- fast and efficient and great value. ?️Staff- the receptionists here that i met were the friendliest people I have so far met on my trip. They are absolute gems, so kind and welcoming and they are part of why I extended my trip in Phnom Penh by two days!!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. I’d give this more than 5/5 if I could. Where to start? The breakfast - you choose from a list of options, we tried something new everyday and every single one was delicious. You get a complimentary juice, and one big cup of superb coffee. You can also have a pastry, like a croissant (almond or plain) or similar. Excellent value for money, to have all this included with the breakfast price. The cafe is beautiful, such nice decor and with a super cool vibe. The bedrooms are also lovely, brightly lit with big windows. Great shower in the bathroom. But the beds ? the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed on in a hotel, so soft and spacious. The staff were beyond lovely, always so warm and cheerful, in both reception and the cafe. The hotel is in a cool area, with great restaurants and bars nearby. Quick tuktuk to pretty much everything. If I would 100% stay here again. Thank you for everything!
